New fabrics from Art Gallery Fabric’s arrived at QFTH yesterday– Textures and Luxe In Bloom. It’s all very exciting. Of course, I couldn’t resist, so I’ve been busy…
I’m fairly certain that this is the first quilt that I have made from a panel. It was a lot of fun. Or, well, as you maybe can tell from the picture, it was the quilting that was so much fun. The top swirl was supposed to look the same as the bottom swirl, but I kinda messed up. If I hadn’t told you though, you never would have known. I think they both look nice.
I had soooooooo much fun. As I keep saying, I have ben going quilting crazy recently. AND HAVING SO MUCH FUN! Ever since QuiltCon I have been going crazy. Even Rocky thought that this one was awesome. I was holding it up to put binding on, and he went “WOW! That looks awesome” which from him is a HUGE complement. He usually is pretty ambivalent. So that was cool. Mom also liked it, and so it is going to Red Deer this weekend to be in the QFTH booth. Exciting times.
Of course, there were two fabric lines, an as such two quilts..
I’ve been wanting to join the Scrappy Trip Along, but couldn’t find scraps that I liked. So I decided to do a not-so-scrappy Trip instead. The Luxe In Bloom fabrics are SO beautiful. I love the colours. They are awesome. I love them. Surprisingly much. It is pretty awesome.
Anyways, I’m getting back to my sewing machine 😀
