Vintage Compass

Merry Christmas! I hope yours was as delightful as mine! I manage to get some time in on my longarm and finished up my vintage compass quilt!

Love it. It turned out just as I hoped. Winter means that when I finished up at 4:00 today, it was to dark to take outdoor pictures… So not the best pictures, but, enough to get the idea.

  1. Just beautiful. Love your background fill and all the rays. What do you use to “draw” on your quilts? I have looked at many things but can’t decide what works best.

  2. Wow, Kathleen, I am always in awe of your beautiful quilts and designs, but this one is absolutely gorgeous! I do wish you were still in Suffolk – when are you coming over to Quilters Haven to teach us some more of your new-found skills?! I am very envious of your long-arm machine, but I don’t think that there is a single room in the little house Milly and I are living in now that would be big enough! And I would also need to finish a few more quilts…! However, I am still learning a lot, too! But I really congratulate you on this quilt! I do hope that you and Rocky had a great Christmas – and I am looking forward to seeing what you do in 2015 – so “Happy New Year”! Penny x
