I was SOOO excited when Katarina asked me to be a part of the Skopelos blog hop! I love Katarina’s fabric SO MUCH and so any opportunity to work with them I am up for. Plus, an excuse to actually use my sewing machine — I’ve been doing so much longarming that this is the only quilt I’ve pieced since November!! Crazyness.
This photo (above) is at Pooh Stick Bridge. There is a Winnie the Pooh book where Winnie and his friends throw sticks off a bridge, and the first stick to the other side wins. The game is called Pooh Sticks. And this is the best bridge in Camrose for playing Pooh Sticks. We used to play with my grandma here, and thus, we have named it, Pooh Stick Bridge.
And a couple pictures of the back. Because it’s pretty fantastic too 🙂
Seriously though, how beautiful are these fabrics? Katerina’s fabrics always look crazy amazing in real life– the paper samples that our sales rep shows us doesn’t do it justice. I was so excited to be able to work with them!
Come back tomorrow for Free Motion Friday when I talk about the quilting on this quilt! It was so much fun and I can’t wait to share!
This pattern is a variation of my Avonroy Tiles pattern, though the colour placement is different, and I’ve added borders. So I re-did the pattern with the new fabric placement to create Skopelos Tiles. You can purchase it HERE. Plus, until May 30, if you purchase Skopelos Tiles, I’ll email a copy of Avonroy Tiles as well.
I hope you love this fabric as much as I do! Be sure to check out the rest of the blog hop as well:
