Modern Sampler Quilt

I finally managed to get pictures of my modern sampler quilt. It’s been so dreary around here lately it was hard to get a good day for it.

But today was perfect. I had so much fun quilting this. I split the quilt into a wonky nine patch, then did a different fill in each section of the nine patch.

These circles. So much love. I got the stencil from Jodi Robinson, and it worked really well.

I am extra proud of my swirls. They might be my best swirls ever.

I had so much fun playing with backgrounds on this one 🙂

Happy Sunday!!

Later days,

Kathleen.

PS– Have you seen my “Kathleen Quilts LIVE!” Info yet? It’s a great way to take a class from me without having to travel– learn how to make swirls as great as mine on December 11.

  1. You probably don’t want to know about the four arcs that are missing in the middle of the picture of the continuous curves.
