Pom Pom Quilt - Free Spirit Fabrics / Tula Pink

Earlier this Fall I got to quilt for Free Spirit Fabrics!

This quilt will be a kit offered by Free Spirit out of the new Tula Pink line 'Tula Pink All Stars" and I was so excited to be able to quilt it.

It's hard to see in the main picture, but here is the quilting in the black section. These rings wrap all around the circle in the black section.

In order to be able to quilt those rings, I ended up taping the quilt to my floor, then using my leader grips to make a giant compass to mark the circles. I ended up being really happy with how it turned out.

In the white section, I did one of my favourites, splitting the space with radiating lines of ribbon candy and onion peel. I think it turned out great.

In the very centre I tried to continue the theme, though you'll notice the white space doesn't have the echoing in it, as there just wasn't room.

I'll be doing more in-depth tutorials on how I marked the circles and radiating lines in the coming weeks over on Patreon! So if you haven't taken a look over there, be sure to head over!

That's me today! I've got another awesome quilt going on the blog tomorrow! So be sure to come back!

Later days, Kathleen.
