What type of batting do you use?

I use two layers of batting in all my quilts, a layer of 80/20 cotton/poly for the bottom layer, and a layer of washable wool for the top. I most often use Hobbs branded batting. 

What type of thread do you use?

I most use a polyester 40 weight embroidery thread, made either by Marathon Threads or Glide. I occasionally will use a 60 weight polyester embroidery thread made by Glide, or very occasionally a 100 weight polyester thread or invisible thread.
