Free Motion Friday - Teresa's Quilt

Free-Motion-Friday Happy Friday!!!

Today, Teresa's Quilt

Quilt

Let's do this!

2

I started by echoing the blue square, 1/4" in from the outside, and 1/4" in from the white squares in the corners.

3

Then, I filled the space in in the middle... in the top two I drew bubbles, then  my hand started cramping up, so I switched to squigles. But really, any design would work here. 4

It's a bit hard to see here, but I've echo'd 1/4" in from the square, in line with the inner white squares.

5

Then, I've done two options here... we could easily keep alternating them, or keep it all the same... I did one with four "Kathleen's Magic Shape" designs in it, and one with some dot-to-dot and straight lines. We've basically created a square to fill, so if you have a favourite design to do in large squares, now is the time to do it!

7

Then I've drawn straight lines from one square to the next, 1/4" in on the blue connectors. I've then filled it up with some dense back-and-forth lines.

8

Then, in the white spaces, I'd fill them up with whatever background fill I was in the mood for :D.

That's it for me! If you'd like your quilt to be a part of FMF, email a picture of it to kathleen(at)kathleenquilts.com
