Free Motion Friday - Dara's Quilt

Happy Friday! I'm teaching today and tomorrow at Sparrow Studioz! There's still room in my Saturday class, so if you're around, register here! This week, we've got Dara's quilt.

I started by isolating a box around one of the pinwheels.

And then continuing these boxes throughout the quilt.

Then, I echoed about 1/4" inside of each of these boxes,

and the same echo around each of the pinwheels.

Then filled in the space with my favourite filler.

I did the same thing in the corner triangles -- echo inside of the box, and then fill with my favourite filler.

Then, in each triangle of my pinwheel, I did one of my feather swirls.
