Free Motion Friday - Kerry's Quilt

Happy Friday!!! Today we are playing with Kerry's quilt.

All those lines to put designs in... makes my heart go all afluttter. I love it. I started with ribbon candy in the green lines,

Wave fill in the blue lines,

And some simple straight lines following the plaid of the fabric.

I quilted a "+" shape in the white squares, then did continuous curve through them to give them more interest.

Tnad then, in the border, the wave in the blue borders, echoing the wave in the blue spaces in the centre of the quilt, and some simple piano key's in the large white border.

Kerry sent the picture of the quilt to me more than a year ago! I'm guessing I'm too late to be much help to her, but it was fun to play with her quilt!  If you'd like your quilt to be apart of FMF, email a picture of it to kathleen(at)kathleenquilts.com
