Glenna's Butterfly Quilt
I finished Glenna's Butterfly quilt this morning! Glenna made The Butterfly Quilt as part of QFTH's butterfly quilt club.
She plans on couching some yarn to create more vivid antenna now that the quilting is finished. I'm also super happy with the top and bottom borders! I was amazed at myself for figuring out a border design that involved no rulers or marking, but (I think) looks super crazy amazing. I'll definitely have to remember this one :D
I'm so happy with how the zig-zags in the space inside the feather triangle turned out. It's always nice to try something new andh ave it turn out!
Speaking of something new, I also figured out how to do these bubble swirls after years of trying to figure it out. And I'm so proud of myself they are going to be tomorrow's FMF, so stay tuned for that.
In the wings I quilted fairly similarly to how I quilted Granny's Butterfly, with a mish-mash of different designs. It was a lot of fun, though it took a surprising amount of thinking.
That's it for now! See you tomorrow!
Later days! Kathleen.
