Free Motion Friday - Bubble Swirl
Happy Friday peeps!
This is a design that I have been trying to figure out how to make work for two years. Since I first started longarming. I think it looks awesome, but for the life of me, I could not figure it out. So, while you're probably smarter than me and could figure it out no problem, in case you can't, here we go.
Then swirl back out.
Then an echo around the swirl -- this is important -- this echo closes off the swirl so we don't get lost inside said swirl.
Then one more echo.
Which I then fill with bubbles. When I was trying to figure this out, I would start bubbling before the echoing, and then I would get lost with my bubble inside the swirl, going and going and going...
Then, one more echo to finish of the swirl. Sometimes I do more than one echo after the bubbles, particularly if I am trying to get to a certain spot. But I always make sure to have at least one.
And so on and so forth. I think it makes a pretty awesome looking texture on a quilt. An is a lot of fun to quilt too :D
Later days! Kathleen.
