AvantGarde Blog Hop - Tarnished Windmill Quilt
Oh man guys, I am SOOOOO excited to be a part of this blog hop. This just might be my favourite line of all time. Finally, after 13 years, beating out Citruz by Jan Mullen. It's magic and wonderful, and I'm so excited to have been able to make a quilt out of it.
And here it is!!!
I used the Tarnished Windmill pattern by Quiltworx.com. The piecing went surprisingly quick, and then I got to play with the quilting :D
I'll talk more about the quilting for my FMF post this Friday, so keep an eye out for that.
I added a few fabrics from some of Katarina's other lines and some AGF blenders into the quilt... mainly because I wasn't careful enough when I requested fabrics for this quilt, and so missed a couple fabrics :D Such is life. I'm still pretty ridiculously happy about this quilt.
Rocky and I went outside on a frosty day, and I love the pictures we got! The bright colours with all the frost turned out great.
We've got the fabrics arriving at any moment at the store, and I have so many plans for more projects. So stay tuned for more :D
If you'd like to make this kit, you can purchase is from Quilting From The Heart HERE. (Sorry sold out!) You can also buy the fabrics from us as well!
Be sure to check out the rest of the blog hop! Visit Katarina's blog for information on her giveaway there!
